Bimetallic Wear Products

Hensley Bimetallic Wear Resistant Products are designed to protect your equipment from impact and high abrasion, reduce your maintenance costs, and keep your machines and attachments running for longer periods of time. Available in a variety of shapes and sizes, these products are easily installed, and can be cut or bent prior to welding to provide customized protection for areas of high wear.
These products feature a high chromium white iron metallurgically bonded to a mild steel backing plate. The white iron has a hardness of at least 700 Brinell and provides incredible abrasion resistance while the mild steel backing plate is easily weldable with minimal preparation.

Jadco QT-PLUS® is cold formable with the proper equipment and material preparation. The material toughness allows it to be rolled or formed for almost any application.

Chutes

Chutes allow material that has been sorted/separated to be transported to the next collection point. Extra protection is needed to decrease downtime due to dropping and sliding of material.

JADCO’s CHROMEWELD and QT-PLUS® plates are made for these applications and have a strong track record in multiple industries utilized in this type of equipment. JADCO’s QT-PLUS® wear steel is an impact resistant steel with 2-3 times the wear life of commodity AR Wear Steel. QT-PLUS® is formulated to be extremely resistant to impact and abrasion while remaining extremely ductile. For chutes, JADCO’s CHROMEWELD is ideal for surfaces that require high levels of abrasion resistance. With these two products, chutes created by JADCO can withstand impact and abrasion over a long period of time.

Screens

SMS partners with manufacturers offering custom-designed screen plates for efficient screening in a variety of applications, including mining/aggregate and general industry.

Produced with JADCO QT-PLUS®, these plates provide up to 3-5 times wear life of commodity AR400 wear steel used for screen applications. Result: a premium-quality grade of alloy steel unmatched in the industry, with up to 3-5 times the wear life of commodity AR400 used for screen applications. That means a signicantly greater return on your screen investments. As the applications range for metal screens increases, JADCO’s ability to design and fabricate virtually any opening, using high-denition plasma, enables us to quickly deliver custom or standard screen plates.
